An executive order signed November 14, 2025 exempted farm products including coffee, tea, tropical fruits and juices, cocoa, spices, bananas, oranges, tomatoes, beef, and certain fertilizers from the reciprocal tariff, for goods entered on or after November 13, 2025. A separate order removed Brazil's additional 40 percent duty from many of the same goods from the same date.
What this means for importers
These products paid the reciprocal tariff before November 13, 2025. Those duties may be refundable. See food, beverage, and agriculture.
